About Us
Graceful Horizon is a non-profit organization with a 501(c)3 designation that will be designed as a center for older adults needing day supervision or social engagement outside the home in a safe secure setting. For family caregivers, adult day centers offer a break from constant caregiving duties.
Graceful Horizon will start commensurate with its fundraising abilities and, with time, will offer more amenities including counseling, medical management and education services for family caregivers.
Initially, Graceful Horizon will offer the following services:

About Respite Care
According to the National Adult Day Services Association (NADSA), there are more than 7500 ADULT DAY RESPITE PROGRAMS currently in the US providing services to older adults. For participants, adult day programs provide social interaction, mental stimulation, physical activities and nutritious meals. Some offer health services as well.
The Benefits of Adult day Respite are many, including:

A safe secure setting for adults with Alzheimer’s disease, dementia and or mobility issues who might otherwise wander, fall or injure themselves if left unsupervised.

Social activity and companionship which can bolster mental and physical health.

Physical exercise plans to strengthen muscles, improve balance and enhanced sleep quality through consistent exercise and social activities.
